Homeless of Standerton treated to birthday cake at soup kitchen

Ms GP Maseko and Ms DL Hlatshwayo recently shared their birthday cake with all the attendees at the regular Saturday meeting of Kuyenzeka Kunkulunkulu.

They were surprised with a birthday card made by the homeless, which expressed their gratitude for their continued effort.

The women thanked businesses for the regular donations of food, mentioning Highveld Milling, Gaya Nyama Butchery, Wimpy and Veggie Spot.

Kuyenzeka Kunkulunkulu is a Christian organisation that reaches out to the town’s homeless.

A hot, cooked meal along with a Bible message, is delivered to the homeless, who gather in the backyard of a local business.
