MEC Busi Shiba gets her Covid jab at Carolina Hospital

Ms Shiba discourages all the misinformation and the myth about the vaccine.

CAROLINA – Ms Busi Shiba, MEC for cooperative governance and traditional affairs, received her Covid-19 vaccination as part of the vaccination drive at Carolina Hospital on July 19.

This followed after a successful registration on the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS).

According to information from the department, the vaccination drive is to encourage every citizen in Mpumalanga to register to be vaccinated.

Ms Shiba discourages all the misinformation about the vaccine.

She urged the category of 35-years and above to seize the chance and register on EVDS from July 15.

“The EVDS has opened for the younger population from July 15 therefore, we urge our 35-year-old and above ages to respond positively to this call and register in their numbers to be vaccinated as this category is expected to begin receiving vaccines from August 1,” she said.
