7 people die in accidents around Bethal

At least 7 people died in three accidents in the Bethal area on Sunday night, August 1 and in the early morning of Monday, August 2.

Four people were killed in a collision between two vehicles on the road between Bethal and Ermelo at about 19:00 on Sunday.

ER24 paramedics found two patients sustained moderate injuries while another had sustained serious injuries. This patient later died.

Bethal EMS also attended the accident.

“Another accident later on Sunday night claimed the life of another motorist on the Baanbreker-road and on Monday morning a motorist died in a single vehicle accident between Bethal and Standerton,” said Ms Cindy Swart from Bethal EMS.
