DWS donates stationery to Klipstapel Primary School

BREYTEN – The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) donated stationery and backpacks to Klipstapel Primary School in Breyten on July 26.
This took place as part of Mandela Month commemoration. Mandela Month is celebrated annually in July and it is about inspiring positive changes through small acts of kindness.
“Through individual actions of generosity, it fuels momentum toward positive change, raising awareness and expanding the reach of Mr Mandela’s values, which includes fighting injustice, helping people in need and practicing reconciliation,” Mr Nduduzo Ndlovu, assistant director of communications for DWS central operations, said.
Mr Philane Kunene, deputy director for corporate services at DWS, said they saw it befitting to make a contribution to the underprivileged learners of Klipstapel Primary School.
“It embodies Mandela’s values of helping people in need.
“We hope that this small contribution will go a long way in assisting these learners towards fulfilling their educational aspirations,” he said.
