Ms Saretha Ferns embraces being a woman and inspires teenage girls to be the best they can be.

She was born in Witbank and later moved to Hartbeespoort where she matriculated at Hoërskool Hartbeespoort.

“As a child I always wanted to help people when I grew up, I gave my life to the Lord when I was in Grade 9 and received my calling the year after,” she said.

She has a passion to help teenagers, as when she was a teenager she had to deal with people in her life that struggled with substance abuse and with that came rejection, fear for the future and not feeling good enough.

“I want to help teenagers to be the best they can be, no matter their circumstances,” she said.

She believes that every woman can make a difference wherever she is.

Ms Ferns said we as woman can encourage, comfort and look out for each other and for the people around us.

She began Annebel project in Ermelo 10 years ago and as a woman she has the opportunity to inspire these young ladies on this platform by being a motherly role to these girls is what gives them hope for their lives and future.
