Northern Light Foundation (NLF) began a cleaning project in preparation of painting the intersections and speed humps in Kruger Street, Standerton.
The roads surrounding Standerton Hospital are busy routes, especially for taxi drivers from Sakhile.
Drivers also transport students to and from the campus of Gert Sibande TVET College.
Mr Hillel Coetzer of the foundation said on Tuesday, August 3 that between 10 to 15 black refuse bags were filled in two days.
