The Local Choice Pharmacy Melrow is one of the new Covid-19 vaccination sites for Ermelo residents who have medical aids.

The days and trading hours during which residents can get vaccinated are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 09:00 to 16:00.

Do I have to make a booking for Covid testing or vaccine?

Answer: No, it is a walk-in service. Two gazebos will be in front of the pharmacy, one for Covid testing and one for the vaccinations.

Who is eligible for the vaccine?

Answer: Anyone with a medical aid is eligible to register for the vaccine. Uninsured patients will be able to vaccinate shortly; please watch this space for more info regarding this.

Which vaccines do you administer?

Answer: Johnson&Johnson

Can I be vaccinated when I have flu symptoms or Covid?

Answer: No. Wait for the flu symptoms to subside and at least 30 days after a positive Covid test.

How much will it cost if I pay cash?

Do we have to register on the government’s vaccination website before coming to be vaccinated?

Answer: Yes, please, we cannot help you if you have not been registered on the government’s website beforehand.
