Family offers R10 000 reward for missing person Malusi
Neither his family nor his employer have heard from Mbuyane since his disappearance.
A R10 000 reward is being offered to anyone with information that can help to locate Malusi Fortunate (Max) Mbuyane (32), who went missing in Secunda on November 25.
Mbuyane was last seen attending a braai at the Secunda Trichardspruit picnic area (opposite Builders Warehouse) between 18:00 and 19:00.
Speaking to the Ridge Times Newspaper, his family said he was last seen when he asked a person at the picnic to look after his food while he went to a vehicle in the parking area.
He never returned to the picnic area and nobody saw where he went.
The people who last saw Mbuyane thought he might have gotten a lift to his place of residence in Trichardt.
Mbuyane who is originally from Nelspruit, works in Trichardt and stays on the premises at his place of employment.
Neither his family nor his employer have heard from Mbuyane since his disappearance.
Numerous attempts have been made to contact him on his cellphone but to no avail as his phone is off.
The family also went to his home. His belongings have not been touched and there are no signs of him leaving.

In hopes that Mbuyane may have returned to Nelspruit, his family made contact with a family member who is in the police in Nelspruit, on any information or findings, but to no avail.
“We still believe he is around this area,” said his mother Gabisile Khoza.
The family says he is not the kind of person who would just disappear and not keep in contact with his family and that his disappearance is out of the ordinary as he is a man of routine.
