Bronkhorstspruit residents in 178th parkrun
39 residents from Bronkhorstspruit took part in the weekly parkrun.
Bronkhorstspruit hosted its 178th parkrun on March 23. The parkrun is a chance for the community, regardless of age or gender, to enjoy the outdoors and be physically active.
Nikki Schoeman, Jaco Pretorius, Erhard Kruger and Gobakoang Mnguni improved their personal best times.
Of the 39 participants that took part in the parkrun, Hanru Herbst finished first in a time of 33:55.
Jacques van der Westhuizen finished second with 23:58, followed by Traver Tucker (24:10), Pierre van der Westhuizen (25:43), Nikki Schoeman (28:46), Harry van der Merwe (29:54), Henriette van der Westhuizen (33:15) and Pierre van der Westhuizen (33:22).
The volunteers who made this parkrun possible were André de Lange, Lelanie de Lange, Mikhail de Lange, Erhard Kruger, Despina Rockas, Filia Rockas, Rina Roos and Casper Strydom.
The residents grab a post-parkrun coffee every week at Bronkiesbaai Restaurant or Art Café @ Anton Smit.
