59 participants enjoy Standerton River parkrun

Miondi Gule, a first-timer, crossed the finish line in a time of 22:02, while Andiswamahlubi Hadebe clocked 25:06 and Wassie Rossouw 27:27.

The parkrun on May 18 attracted 59 participants, with three athletes improving their times and six first-timers joining the exercise.

Ayanda Dlamini registered 27:35, Andrew Ainsworth 28:47 in his 50th event, Thikolelwi Mudau 28:48, Jose Joseph 30:34 and Dina Oberholzer 32:51

Patricia Mudau completed the distance in 35:19, and Willem Byleveldt in 37:14.

This free event at the Standerton River Park offers runners, joggers and walkers the chance to compete against themselves.
