Evander court grants new bail hearing date to man accused of killing his girlfriend
Jabulani Nkosi is accused of setting alight the Evander rental house of his late girlfriend, Boitsoko Ndlovu, last November. Her body was inside the house at the time.
The Evander Magistrate’s Court postponed Jabulani Nkosi’s bail application to January 16 on November 21.
Nkosi is accused of setting alight the Evander rental house of his late girlfriend, Boitsoko Ndlovu, last November. She was inside at the time.
Several days before Nkosi allegedly set the house on fire, he allegedly stabbed Boitsoko and hid her body in a fridge.
Nkosi was arrested and appeared in court in February, where he abandoned his bail application. However, he later applied for bail, but it was denied.
He wants to bring a new application with new facts.
Boitsoko’s mother, Esther Letoaba, told the Ridge Times that last year when her daughter died, all her belongings, including her car, were destroyed in the fire. She also said her daughter was pregnant when she died.
Boitsoko was laid to rest on December 3, 2023, in Mamelodi East in Gauteng.
