The Bronkhorstspruit SAPS arrested a 17-year-old boy for attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of 9mm and R5 ammunition, possession of a replica imitation firearm and possession of suspected stolen goods.

The arrest followed after police members carried out crime prevention responsibilities in Valtaki, Bronkhorstspruit. on November 26.
