Secunda SAPS station commander sends festive wishes
Colonel Vena Sigo gave a few safety tips to its community over the festive season.
With the arrival of the festive season, Secunda SAPS station commander, Colonel Vena Sigo, and the police want to give a message of hope to the community.
In most cases, a visit to the station is a negative one because of crimes committed or reporting of accidents, but this year they decorated the police station with the festive season theme.
“This is a message of hope to our community. Although we sometimes pass through troubled waters, there is always a beacon of hope in the future,” said Sigo.
She said the decorating of the station is thanks to SPAR, RickyB, Falcon Engineering, QBF Pool and the members of the police station who helped and gave their time to decorate the police station.
“You are the heroes of the story,” said Sigo.
Secunda police wish the community and their families a Merry Christmas.
“May you be showered with God’s blessings during the festive season while you enjoy this time with family and friends. Best wishes for 2025,” said Sigo.

• When on holiday and away from home, arrange with someone to either occupy your home or regularly visit your premises.
• Don’t give the Grinch a window to your house. Keep windows and doors properly locked. Leaving empty TV boxes for refuse removal is showing criminals what you have in your home.
