Little Paws Big Hearts needs support to continue its outreaches
Little Paws Big Hearts is a non-profit animal organisation that needs your help to continue their work.
Despite challenges faced in 2024, Little Paws Big Hearts (LPBH) survived another year and will continue its outreach programmes in 2025 with your support.
LPBH, a non-profit organisation, attends to over 900 animals every month. Most of these animals are in townships and informal settlements.
“As with every year, 2024 had its challenges. These are the same challenges we carry into 2025,” said Sonja Kempen of LPBH.
She said with that in mind, LPBH will work extra hard this year to reach these goals:
• The number one priority is to have enough food for cats and dogs at every outreach.
• Increase LPBH’s supporters, donors and volunteer base.
• To acquire a sponsored vehicle to handle all terrains.
• To complete Project Inja Ekhaya thanks to the generosity of Animal-Kind International.

• To continue with mass sterilisation and vaccination as preventative measures against cruelty, suffering and disease.
• To have more schools open their doors to our human education program.
“May 2025 be the year to remember in terms of community building, compassion, understanding and the spirit of ubuntu. We look forward to walking shoulder to shoulder with you for the next year. Our success is your success!” said Sonja.
LPBH always needs donations of food, kennels, beds, and blankets. Visit their Facebook page if you would like to know more about the LPBH outreach programmes.
