Soccer teams take to the field in Leandra

Soccer team needs money to maintain soccer field.

The conclusion of the Super 8 Soccer Tournament took place in Leandra at the end of March. I Promise Football School hosted the tournament, attended by Secunda Spurs Academy FC, Secunda NPO and soccer team.

This soccer team and I Promise Football School share the same vision of focusing on developing young soccer players.

The two coaches of I Promise Football School, Wesley Vieira Ntshangase and MJ Humphrey and the coach of Secunda Spurs Academy FC, Phil Ndlovu, agreed the tournament was a great experience.

This football school and soccer team also took hands on April 3 to host a friendly tournament at Highveld Christian College in Secunda to raise money for a sports field revamp project.

Highveld Christian College allowed the Secunda Spurs FC to use their grounds for the league matches starting at the end of April.

The Secunda Spurs FC team is raising money to cut the long grass on the field. Anybody is welcome to support them by contributing financially or lending them a tractor to cut the grass.
