Try frenzy as Sasol 1 scores 17 tries in match played in Secunda

Sasol Rugby Club’s first team enjoyed a try frenzy during a home game against Middelburg on Saturday. Sasol 1 beat their opponents by 113-0, scoring 17 tries against a young and inexperienced Middelburg team.
At half-time, Sasol 1 was ahead by 52-0. Jandre Mathee scored three tries for Sasol 1. JW Lourens, Theuns Kruger, Dalton Smit, Wynand Venter and Reagan Tsotetsie each scored two tries.
Gcobani Vula, Given Tshabalala and Ruben Silvo scored a try each. Dirk Coetzer succeeded with 13 conversions while Wynand Venter converted one try.

Sasol 3 won their game against eMbalenhle 1 by 38-15. Jannie van der Merwe scored two tries and converted three.
Chandler Demos scored two tries and DaanCoetzer and Jano van der Merwe ensured a try each. Jado Trigaardt succeeded with a conversion.
Sasol 3’s men of the match were Jano van der Merwe (forward) and Tumelo Moloi (back) who received rewards from NTT Nissan.
Sasol and Bethal are facing off in Bethal this coming Saturday.
