Secunda Mall urges residents to collect nearly 200 unclaimed IDs, licenses before August 31

Claimants must bring valid identification or proof of ownership because the mall will only release documents to the rightful owner unless legal authorisation is provided.

Nearly 200 uncollected identity documents and driver’s licenses have accumulated over the years at the Secunda Mall offices.

Mall management is urging the public to reclaim them.

These documents, found in or around the mall, were stored safely as per the mall’s lost and found procedures. Anyone who might have lost their ID or driver’s license near the mall should visit the reception desk during business hours to check if their document is among those held.

The final collection date is August 31.

After this date, the mall will hand all unclaimed documents to the Department of Home Affairs or the Traffic Department in line with standard protocol.

Claimants must bring valid identification or proof of ownership because the mall will only release documents to the rightful owner unless legal authorisation is provided.

For enquiries, call the Secunda Mall centre management on 010 001 0254 or email info@shopsecundamall.co.za
