Every day of the four-day event, Jaden Welgemoed wore a different cosplay outfit.

Jaden Welgemoed realised his lifelong dream by attending and competing in the cosplay competition at Comic Con Africa on August 28.

Welgemoed travelled to Johannesburg early on August 28 to catch his flight to Cape Town. Upon arriving at the hotel, Welgemoed excitedly began sending videos of the experience to friends and close family.

Every day of the four-day event, Welgemoed wore a different cosplay outfit, building up to the competition on August 30.

The immense community support that Welgemoed received on this journey was overwhelming. The community covered all travel expenses, a four-day pass, and living costs.
