The organiser of the tournament, Ignus Koekemoer, said the Super Slam is not just a contest of cricketing talent but rather a celebration of purpose, pride, and preservation.
“With this tournament, we aim to unite sport with social and environmental responsibility. At the heart of the Super Slam is the belief that cricket can do more than entertain. It can inspire, educate, and uplift,” said Koekemoer.
The mission of this tournament is to raise funds to develop junior and women’s club cricket in Mpumalanga.
