Lindi Masina brought together learners, teachers, faith-based organisations and community leaders in a united call for success, wisdom and strength as Grade 12 learners prepare for their final examinations.
The Mpumalanga Department of Education held a provincial prayer day at the Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club to pray for the Class of 2025 on October 16.
Religious and traditional leaders, motivational speakers and other community organisations urged matric learners not to panic but to focus on their final exams, which start on October 21.
The event, led by the MEC for Education, Lindi Masina, brought together learners, teachers, faith-based organisations and community leaders in a united call for success, wisdom and strength as Grade 12 learners prepare for their final examinations.
Masina highlighted the department’s commitment to holistically, academically, emotionally, and spiritually supporting learners to ensure they perform to the best of their ability.
“We gather today to pray for good results and to reaffirm our shared belief in the potential of every learner in Mpumalanga. Together, through faith and dedication, we can achieve excellence,” said Masina.
Faith leaders from across the province prayed for learners’ success, guidance for teachers and strength for parents and guardians who continue to support learners through the demanding exam season.
The provincial prayer day stands as a symbol of encouragement and partnership between the education sector and the community, demonstrating that success in education is built on hard work, preparation, faith and collective support.
