Secunda Mall rewards tenants

Lovisa is the best store for 2025.

Lovisa won the tenant of the year award at the Secunda Mall’s annual Tenants Awards evening at Symphony’s Café on October 9.

The other stores to win awards:
• Checkers (people’s choice);
• Food Lovers Market (valuable contribution to mall activities);
• @Home (look and feel);
• Bougart (customer experience);
• Woolworths (excellence in community);
• The Fix (most improved store of the year).

The guest speaker was well-known SA actor and motivational speaker, Hykie Berg, who encouraged his audience to have a vision for their lives.

“If you do not have a vision, you will not know what to say no for in life. You don’t need to have the intention to be poor one day, you just need to have no intention and then poverty will find you,” said Berg.

He emphasised the importance of writing down one’s visions, saying many people died at 25, but were buried at 75 because they didn’t live and simply went through the motions.

“God always calls us higher and out of our comfort zones. As long as I breathe, I want to make my voice go as far as possible. Find your passion, write it down and get a vision for your life. If you do not have plan for your life, you will fall into someone else’s plan.”
