Laerskool Trichardt archers excel at championships during the school holiday

Five of Laerskool Trichardt’s archers formed part of the National Inter-Provincial team and clinched a third-place team victory.

Laerskool Trichardt’s archers competed in two major archery events in Polokwane from October 6 to 7.

Reinhardt Reynders, Sean Posthumus-Meyjes, Tahlia Reynders, Merike de Klerk, and Brennan Austin formed part of the primary school provincial team that participated in the National Inter-Provincial Championships (NIPC).

The team achieved third place.

Merike de Klerk (Grade Six), Tahlia Reynders (Grade Five), Brennan Austin (Grade Seven), Areli Swart (Grade Four), Jani Wahl (Grade Four), Sean Posthumus-Meyjes (Grade Six), and Reinhardt Reynders (Grade Six) participated in the National Inter-Schools Championships (NISC).

For the second consecutive year, Tahlia was named the girls’ Grade Five winner. She shot a bullseye of 276.
