Thandeka Primary School in Standerton area receives over 60 school uniforms
According to Zamokuhle Mhlongo, many learners lack basic needs, creating a barrier to learning and often stopping them from attending school.
Thandeka Primary School received a generous donation of school uniforms from ZIMPAK (PTY) LTD on January 23. According to Zamokuhle Mhlongo, many learners at the school come from vulnerable backgrounds.
“They lack basic needs, and it becomes a problem. It creates a barrier to learning as this often stops them from coming to school,” explained Mhlongo.
That is why this donation made by Mandla Zimu and Ishmael Makoa of ZIMPAK (PTY) LTD means so much to this school.
Over 60 less fortunate learners at the school received full uniforms, including shoes, socks, pants, and shirts.
“We couldn’t thank them enough,” stated Mhlongo.
