eMzinoni SAPS warns learners not to get involved in criminal activities

The back-to-school campaign aims to address learners not to engage in criminal activity, bullying and gangsterism.

In a back-to-school campaign hosted by eMzinoni SAPS, the communication officials, Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Vispol Commander Warrant Officer Mxolisi Makwakwa, in conjunction with the NGO Philasande, Department of Education, and CPF, visited Imbekezelo Primary School on January 23.

The purpose of the campaign was to address learners not to engage in criminal activities such as bullying and substance abuse.

“We also sensitise them to participate in more sports activities to keep them busy and not to form part of gangsterism, and to report any crime that is taking place in and out of school premises,” said Sergeant Cynthia Mtshweni, spokesperson for eMzinoni police.
