Ikhethelo Secondary School’s teachers, Khanyisani Nkosi and Lizzie Mncube, received awards for Best Teachers in History.

Ikhethelo Secondary School celebrates the outstanding achievements of its history teachers, Khanyisani Nkosi and Lizzie Mncube, whose dedication and passion for teaching have brought great honour to the school and the community.

They were awarded as Gert Sibande District’s best teachers in history at an awards ceremony in Ermelo, after achieving an exceptional 97.5% pass rate.

Their excellence did not stop there. Nkosi and Mncube received another Certificate of Excellence in the Govan Mbeki Circuit on February 3 for achieving an impressive 98% pass rate in history.

“Success is born from discipline, commitment, and believing in your purpose,” said Nkosi.

Both teachers encourage fellow educators to teach with passion and patience, knowing that every lesson shapes a future.

They emphasise to learners that dedication, focus, and perseverance can turn even the most challenging subjects into success stories.

Their achievements inspire the entire Ikhethelo Secondary School family to strive for excellence and to believe that with hard work, nothing is impossible.
