A police vehicle was involved in an accident early this morning.

An accident took place this morning (April 27) at approximately 05:14 on the R77 road near the Sasol Junction Filling Station when a Ford Ranger and a police highway patrol Audi collided.

The cause of the accident is unknown and two patients were treated by MidFire Ambulance Services and transported to Mediclinic Highveld.

Jelane Security Fire, Midfire Ambulance Services, the municipal fire department and traffic department, Secunda Police, GTR MCR Towing and Sectri Towing were on scene.
