One of the victims is a minor.

A man who was sentenced to jail in the Boeremag treason trial in 2013 and who is currently out on parole, is back behind bars.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo, said the man, who cannot yet be identified because he has not yet pleaded, is facing charges of rape and sexual grooming.

The cases were opened at the Boschkop Police Station and then transferred to the Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit for investigation. One of the victims is a minor.

The Ekangala FCS arrested the man in Kleinfontein, a segregated community outside Bronkhorstspruit, on August 8.

He appeared in the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate’s Court today, August 10.

The case was postponed to August 17. Until then, the 46-year-old will remain in police custody.
