Children are being rescued at a disciplinary camp near Evander.

The Evander police together with the Department of Justice closed down a disciplinary camp after a child ran away and reported abuse in the camp.

Twenty children from eMbalenhle and other provinces like KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng are currently being rescued from the camp.

Some children have bruises, from alleged abused.

The owner who pretended to be speaking with someone on his cellphone, escaped.

Police are currently chasing down the owner who is on the run.
