Retired teachers from Standerton celebrate Mother’s Day
Not only those involved in education can join because clerks and general workers of the department who stay in Standerton are welcome.
Teachers who retired from the Department of Education met at a restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 24.
Gloria Morati and Susan Mfuphi organised the event.
The retirees get together occasionally, as we reported last November.
They have formed a committee, with Morati as the chairperson and Joyce Gama and Peggy Mtunzi as the secretaries.
