Students from Cullinan learn to make SA favourite

The three will now process the meat at SA Cares centre.

Mike Fourie (40), a chef from Pretoria, came to Cullinan to teach people at SA Cares how to make wors on July 22.

He explained the process to follow, and then the students had to do the work – from mixing the spices and blending them into the meat to filling the meat into the casing used to make the wors.

The three students who attended were fast learners and received certificates for their new skills.

The students also learnt how to package wors.
