Join in the bath and braai at Wet Nose
Wet Nose is hosting a horseback archery day to raise money for the equine rescue centre.

As the vibrant hues of autumn begin to adorn the landscape, the Wet Nose Equestrian Centre invites everyone to embrace the season with their unique bath and braai event on April 13.
It is an opportunity to engage in the heartwarming activity of bathing horses, followed by the enjoyment of a leisurely braai in good company.
The event is from 09:00 to 15:00. Everyone is invited to partake in a day that promises to be filled with laughter, warmth and mouthwatering delights.
One of the day’s highlights is the exhilarating Horseback Archery Show, presented by Phoenix Horseback Archery.
These thrilling demonstrations of horseback archery presented by some of South Africa’s top horseback archers will captivate your senses, showcasing the stunning combination of skilful archery and graceful horseback riding.
It will be an experience that is sure to be the talk of the day, offering a unique spectacle that combines tradition with thrilling entertainment.
For your convenience, you are welcome to bring your cooler boxes, ensuring your beverages stay cool throughout the event.
Additionally, Wet Nose will be offering the option to purchase a braai pack, simplifying your preparations so you can focus on enjoying the day.
Entrance to this memorable event is completely free. Attendees are asked to take along something on the Wet Nose’s equine wish list.
The wish list consists of equine fly spray or tick grease, water buckets, food buckets, steel rakes, gloves for cleaning stables, hard brooms or brushes and buckets, three-prong bale forks picks, sawdust, wheelbarrows, old horse tack, fly masks, halters, grooming kits, fly traps or fly bait, hose pipes ad fittings, blue overalls – sizes medium and large, big wire pliers, stationary such as scissors and whiteboard markers, vitamins and supplements, grass, horse concentrate, mineral and salt licks and 5-litre buckets (every horse has their feeding bucket).
The bath and braai event is a perfect opportunity to make a real difference for animals in need.
