Two people were shot dead at a tavern in Extention 15, eMbalenhle, last night (January 1).
After the shooter entered the tavern, he took out a gun and began shooting randomly at patrons, killing two.
He then fled the scene.
Sergeant Busi Mthethwa, eMbalenhle police spokesperson confirmed the incident.
A case of double murder was opened.
No arrest have yet been made.
