SECUNDA – The newly elected committee of the local squash club invited people to now book a squash court online and to visit their new Pro Shop at the club.
The Pro Shop opened about a year ago and sells from squash shoes and rackets to squash balls.
It also has a machine that can restring players’ rackets and a ball launcher machine that players can use to practise.
The ball launcher must be booked in advance.
The new committee members are Ms Elzaan du Toit (chairman), Ms Su Carter (juniors coordinator), Mr Mornay Butland (socials), Ms Janita de Villiers (secretary) and Messrs Daniel Guidi (juniors and Pro Shop), Grant Heimann (social), Geoff Carter (maintenance), Thuthuka Mnyanda (vice-chairman), Jonathan Parsons (treasurer), Henry Malan (IT) and Reginald Mbatha (addional member).
The club hosts social and fitness evenings every Wednesday from 4.40pm to 6.40pm and anyone is welcome.
The Pro Shop is open from Mondays to Thursdays from 4.40pm to 6.40pm.
