EVANDER – Evander Hospital’s netball and soccer teams played in the district league against Elsie Ballot, Amasford, on 18 November and are going through to the next round.
The netball team won their match with a score of 19-8 and the hospital soccer’s team automatically went through to the next round because their opponents did not show up.
The soccer team of Evander Police played a friendly match against police students and won 4-0.
“The competitors are adjusting on the field and Evander Hospital’s teams have a good chance of winning the district league,” said Mr David Mabodi, sports organiser of Evander Hospital.
