Tigers beat Matla 38-5

Matla’s coach, Mr Mzwake Thuba, said the match was good but there were some errors on the referee’s side.

The Kinross Tigers Rugby Team beat Matla 38-5 on Saturday, 13 June at Kinross Sasol Club.

The match was well attended by fans from both teams.

The all-time and well-known fan of the Kinross Tigers, Brabkie, was also there to support his team.

The man of the match for the Tigers was Anton van der Walt.

Louis Momberg, Frikkie Rossow and Ruan Van Deventer each scored a try.

Anton van der Walt scored three tries and Duran Muller had four conversions.

The Tigers’ coach, Mr Sebastiaan Rademeyer, said they had a great match and the players played well together.

“I am happy that our players are always disciplined and show commitment every time they play,” said Mr Rademeyer.

He thanked the supporters of the Kinross Tigers for being there every weekend.
