The Young Guns and New Denmark took to the field on 20 June.
New Denmark batted first and posted 142/9 in their allotted 20 overs with Wynand Grobler making an unbeaten 54 runs.
The Young Guns ran out of overs with only 120 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets.
Christiaan Jansen van Vuuren shone with the bat and scored 29 runs for the Young Guns. The Young Guns was in action again on 21 June against the Standerton Dekalb Rugby Team.
The Young Guns had no problem with the batting and ended up scoring a respectable 160/3 with Christiaan Jansen van Vuuren unbeaten on 51(n.o.).
The Rugby Team however found the conditions a bit different from what they are used to with a smaller ball and no contact and was bundled out for 97 runs with Pierre Wessels scoring 41 runs.
In the final match of the weekend the defending champions the Pick n Pay Vipers took on the Old Boys.
The Vipers won the toss and elected to bat which looked to be the correct decision as they posted an impressive 190/7.
JD van Dyk (52 n.o.) and Junior Naudé (50 n.o.) were the best batsmen for the Vipers.
The Old Boys was under pressure from ball one and found it difficult to get the board ticking and was eventually bowled out for 112 runs.

Pick n Pay Vipers – 66 points after three matches.
Young Guns – 55 points after three matches.
New Denmark – 42 points after three matches.
Northmec – 39 points after two matches.
Old Boys – 35 points after two matches.
Standerton Dekalb Rugby Team – 21 points after two matches.
Secunda Young Guns – 20 points after one match.
There will be no matches the coming weekend due to the annual Goldi Week.
