Hannes Henderson (84 points) was the men’s overall winner of the Gold Rush tournament held at the Walker Park Golf Club from 12 to 14 June.
Charlene Vos (80 points) was the women’s overall winner.
The aim of the tournament was to raise funds for the improvement of the club’s facilities.
About 280 golfers took part..
Walker Park Golf Club’s manager, Ms Mary-Jade van Rensberg, said on behalf of the players and the management that the tournament was a great success.
The next tournament at the club is the Sanlam Cancer Golf day on Saturday, 20 June to raise funds for Cansa.
