GMM senior citizens take part in the Golden Games
The games were part of their preparation for the district games that will take place on 16 August in Ermelo.
Senior citizens from Govan Mbeki Municipality (GMM) took part in the Golden Games at Lilian Ngoyi Stadium in Secunda last Wednesday.

The event was well attended and Sasol sponsored the elderly with prizes.
Ms Ethel Makhele, chairman of the Govan Mbeki elderly, thanked the company that also supplied refreshments and transport.
This year’s games were attended by the elderly icon Ms Maphala Gulube who will soon be celebrating her 92nd birthday.
Sports activities included jukskei, duck walk, passing the ball, running, soccer and brisk walking.
