eMba wrestlers prepare for inter-provincial competition
eMbalenhle Wrestling Club will host the inter-provincial wrestling competition this coming weekend.
An inter-provincial wrestling competition will take place at the Sasol Recreation Club in eMbalenhle on Saturday, 2 September.
Teams from Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng East will take part.
This is the first time in the history of the eMbalenhle Wrestling Club that this event is hosted locally.
Weighing in takes place at the club at 7am on Saturday morning and wrestling begins at 9am.
The competition will be wrestled on three mats and the best wrestlers from the three provinces will compete against each other.
Six wrestlers from eMbalenhle are in the Mpumalanga team and their coach, Mr Lucas Ngwenya, has also been appointed as a coach for the Mpumalanga team.
Spectators of all ages are welcome.
Entrance is free and refreshments will be sold.
