Nortje and Luddick are ahead in the Sasol Cycling Club time trial series

The next time trial race takes place on 29 April.

SECUNDA – Jaco Nortjé and Werner Luddick are currently the respective leaders in the road and mountain bike time trial series hosted monthly by the Sasol Cycling Club.

The second time trial took place on Sunday, 25 March.

Although not many cyclists made it to the second event that was held on the Sunday, mainly due to the gruelling Cosmos 3-in-1 race the previous day, cyclists were allowed to still submit Strava times during the rest of the week.

Luddick completed the 15km MTB race in a time of 28:35 minutes. Nortjé set his road race time at 32:27 minutes.

The next time trial takes place on 29 April from 12pm at the crossroad near the dumping site next to the Trichardt crushers.

An entry form and payment of R10 per cyclist are compulsory. All the proceeds will be doubled at the end of the series and will be donated to the SPCA.
