Lekwa-athletes participate in cross-country championships

Lekwa circuit schools competed in cross-country championships at Hoërskool Standerton recently.

The results are:

In the GU/12 race, which was over a distance of 3km, Mamsy Ndlovu from Funduqhubeke Primary School obtained first position, followed by Akon Nkambule from Lindilanga Primary School and Nokuthula Sauhatsi from Hlobisa Primary School.

In the GU/13, which was over a distance of 3km, Zinhle Mngomezulu from Tegwansnest Combine School was first, while Andile Mazibuko from Funduqhubeke Primary School was second and Busi Mngomezulu from Tegwansnest Combined School third.

The BU/13 ran a distance of 4km with Fezile Gqwashu from Standerton Primary School obtaining first position, while Lebo Mokgalemele from Lindilanga Primary School was second and Njabulo Mlangeni from Shukuma Primary School third.
