Bowling club invites players to enter business league

Standerton Bowling Club will present their business league again as from 1 October, once per week in the afternoons.

The club invited teachers and cricket, rugby and golf players to enter teams of four players, plus one reserve.

“Even if you never played bowls before, it is great fun,” Elrina Greaves said.

“We will supply you with bowls and some training.”

They challenged the community to come and show them what they can do with a ball without a bat, golf club or even a fishing rod.

Teams are allowed to make use of one club member if they are short of a team of four.
