12-year-old from Walker Park Golf Club, Evander, wins longest drive at Highland Gate tournament
The other local youngsters who took part in the Highland Gate tournament, are Dries Odendaal from Bethal who ended second, Henru Lewies from Bethal, Derik Human from Bethal, Dean Hall from Graceland in the fifth position and Divan Swart from Walker Park.

Henco Coetzee, a 12-year-old golf player at Walker Park Golf Club, received the accolade for the longest drive at the recent Mpumalanga Junior Road to Highland Gate tournament for U/13 to U/19 golfers.
The players who competed in this tournament at Dullstroom on 11 October are the creme of the province.
Mpumalanga Golf hosted tournaments from which they selected the top 20 players to take part in the Highland Gate competition.

Henco, a Grade 7 pupil at Laerskool Trichardt, was the youngest player and boasts a handicap of plus 1. He ended ninth in the competition with 11 above par.
Henco began playing golf with his dad, Mr Koevoet Coetzee about two years ago and is hooked on the game.
He dreams of becoming a professional golfer.
Henco also excels at athletics and rugby. He competed in shotput, javelin and discus at the South African Athletic Championship and also took part in the Bokkies Rugby Week.
