BETHAL – The Vitruvian league of the Da Vinci’s Pool Club saw their player list cut from 18 to eight players after the qualifiers and knockout rounds were played on Sunday, 25 October.
The qualifiers saw Eben Swanepoel and Marius Vermeulen move on to the knockout stages where Swanepoel had to face nr 1 Frans Muller and Vermeulen faced nr 2 Shane Nolan. Both Muller and Nolan won their matches to progress to the quarter-finals.
The opening match of the top 16 was between Jean Vos and Wikus van Heerden.

Botha went into the match a favourite because of log standings and quickly gained a 3-0 lead.
