Rugby players from eMzinoni excel

They played for various Mpumalanga teams.

Several rugby players from the Emzinoni Sport Academy, a local NPO, excelled in the sport and were chosen for various national teams.

Nomfundo Sithole, Lindokuhle Seopela and Thulisile Mndebele from eMzinoni play for the Pumas senior women’s team.

They attended South African National Week and played against the Free State in Middelburg on July 22.

Nontokozo Radebe and Nkululeko Maseko played for Mpumalanga’s U18 women’s team that participated in the national rugby week for girls at Jeppe’s High School for Boys during the school holiday.

Lungile Simelane, Sinethemba Ndlovu, Nothando Lukhele, Asanda Jele and Skhulile Mabuza ran out for the Pumas women’s U16 team.

Emzinoni Sport Academy players Khanyisa Mhlaba and Noxolo Nxumalo represented Mpumalanga at the U15 girls National Winter Games, and Musa Magagula and Cebo Sindane took part in the U15 Boys Winter Games played in Benoni.
