Sasol Rugby Club hosts training session in Secunda
The club’s management is excited about the new project.

The Sasol Rugby Club hosted a training session for primary school learners on February 1.
The aim was to promote rugby development and community engagement by introducing youngsters to the sport, fostering a lifelong passion for rugby and promoting physical activity, teamwork and social skills.
The club’s coaching staff and the players involved in the session focused on fundamental skills and understanding the game.

According to club secretary Cassie Pretorius, this partnership will strengthen the ties between schools, local families and the rugby community.
“The Sasol Rugby Club looks forward to working together to grow the sport and support the development of young rugby enthusiasts,” said Pretorius.

Each learner received a certificate recognising their participation and commitment.
The club’s management thanked all the parents who made their children part of the initiative.
“We received positive feedback from the parents and look forward to greater things to come,” said Pretorius.
