78 participate in parkrun in Standerton
The Standerton River Park parkrun welcomed 78 runners at this week's event
The Standerton River Park parkrun celebrated its 283rd event on February 1, where 78 participants completed the 5km track.
Tshiamo Lephoto completed his 50th milestone run in a time of 16:45.
Jay-Jay Kruger was a newcomer to the River Park parkrun and completed the dash with a time of 23:36.
Eugene Viljoen completed the run in 26:06, followed by Perth Jayram (27:05), Thikolelwi Collins Madau (29:54) and Ayanda Dlamini (30:18).
The volunteers who made this event possible were Charl van Wyk, Daniel Wright, Krishnalal (Johnny) Ramdharee, Leandri van Wyk, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Marion Jean Robertson, Noluthando Zweni, Preyanka Dorasamy, Priscilla Ramdharee, Roger Crichton, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Sylvy Moodley, Willy Smith and Zeldine Strydom.
