Young action netball team from Trichardt needs sponsors
These girls aim to be part of Mpumalanga team.

The Action Poppies action netball team has excelled since they started playing.
This team consists of learners of Laerskool Trichardt, playing in the U7, U8 and U9 leagues at the Umzui Action Sports Centre.
The mothers of the players, who are also the organisers of this team, thought it would be a good idea to give their children exposure on the netball court so that they might become professional netball players one day.
One mother, Sam Ngcobo, said the players have improved drastically since starting with their first season when they finished fourth.
In their second season, they won a gold medal and in their third season silver.

Ngcobo said they would like to give the team new dresses for competitions and leagues and would appreciate any sponsors or donations.
“Even if businesses or individuals sponsor something like water bottles, they are welcome,” said Ngcobo.
The parents’ goal is to see their netball players playing for Mpumalanga.
“Sport is tough, but it teaches you discipline, which you can apply to your life as well,” said Ngcobo.
