Golfers tee off in Tutela fundraiser in Evander
Golfers swung into action for a good cause at Walker Park Golf Club.
A field of 60 players took to the greens at Walker Park Golf Club for a fundraising golf day in aid of Tutela on September 19.
The tournament was played in an IPS format, with Nicolette Nortje claiming first place with 43 points off a 29 handicap.
Carel van Schaik finished second on a count-out with 42 points, while Kevin Lourens also scored 42 points to take third place.
Jacques Erasmus was nearest to the pin on hole two, while Adriaan de Will claimed nearest to the pin on hole 15.
M-J Russell won the women’s longest drive, while Jacques Erasmus claimed the men’s longest drive.
