Show some respect
Showing others respect is a reflection of how you were brought up, and is based on self respect.

It seems to me that self respect, moral values, good manners and respect for others have become non existent in our society these days.
Showing others respect is a reflection of how you were brought up, and is based on self respect.
Respect includes taking others’ feelings, needs, thoughts, ideas, wishes and preferences into consideration.
It is the following of the rule: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you”.
It is speaking politely to others and of not hurting their feelings by saying unkind things or of making fun of them.
It is about treating others fairly and of showing tolerance to people who share different beliefs.
It is about seeing everyone as a person with rights, regardless of their race, sex, age or ethnic group.
You show others respect by looking them in the eye when they are talking with you and by listening closely to what they say.
Did you know that one of the best ways to show no respect whatsoever is to rudely cut in while another person is speaking?
Or that to spice up your talking with swear words is not cool?
What happened to “thank you”, “please” or “may I?”, of opening a door for a woman and of letting a woman walk first?
Of getting up from your chair to make space for an elderly?
Showing respect to others improves relationships and increases the odds that they will treat you respectfully as well.
While everyone is different, all people like to be treated with dignity, be treated fairly and be made to feel as though they matter.
